I’m Jackie

I am blessed to share a 44-year marriage to Gary, and together, we have two wonderful children, Heather and Christopher.

family, faith & finding meaning is my first book and I’m thrilled I accomplished this dream. Throughout my life I always enjoyed writing, and in 2023 I decided to give my words the time and focus they finally deserved. Writing became another love, and another way to explore and express my life’s experiences.

Poetry, in particular, opened a doorway into my memories of growing up on a dairy farm in Chetek, Wisconsin. Through writing, poem by poem, word by word, memories about my parents, family, and farm living were unearthed. As a wife, mother, and sister, my love of family nurtured and grew. Friendships sprinkled amidst my love of life grew and have blossomed into a garden full of friends.

Every facet of my life has contributed to enabling me to discover more about my life’s purpose and who I’ve become: a woman who deeply cares about family, faith, and finding meaning.
